So, 19th of February, 2019 here and I have been working on a new Ricoh printer deployment for the Ricoh IM C3000. We already have a number of Ricoh devices in Dinerth IT towers. 402s, 307s and 5504s - all shipped with the default username of admin and password of <blank>
So, we failed at the first hurdle today and no amount of Googling or researching came up with the answer. Speaking with Ricoh UK's professional services - it looks like a new admin password has come out. The new default password that was worked was
system@emea
This suggests that perhaps the password will change slightly depending on the regions (system@us, system@america, system@asiapacific??? )
I hope this info helps you out and saves you a couple of hours.
It works like a charm in France too.
ReplyDeleteThx a lot!
The password on an new IMC2000 in Sweden was system@rse
ReplyDeleteThis is only applicable if you supplier set that as the default password, I'm assuming you where supplied by Ricoh Direct and not a local dealer?
ReplyDeleteworks in the UK
ReplyDeleteHi mate, can you advise on what it actually is for the UK? I've tried the obvious system@uk but no joy.
DeleteCan you also advise of the username?
Well. UK is in what's commonly known as emea (Europe, Middle East, Africa) so try system@emea
DeleteAustria Ricoh Direct: admin@rat
ReplyDeleteVielen Dank, in Deutschland ist es das Password: system@rde
